Phosphorus removal and recovery from synthetic solutions sewage sludge supernatants by using magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) were investigated through batch adsorption experiments. The kinetics isotherms on the of phosphate have been studied different MNP doses, contact time, pH, initial P concentrations. Reusability enrichment in desorption solution dewatering tested a series adsorption-desorption cycles. efficiency was between 29 97 % after 24 h depending concentrations adsorbent This detectable pH ? 3–5 but decreased case increased levels. Intra particle (IP) diffusion model kinetic tests demonstrated that process controlled multi-step mechanism reaction equilibrium reached 120 min.
